Haha! I spent over 30 years in the army where names of more than one syllable are too difficult! Angus becomes Gus etc, although knew several ‘basher’s’, none of them for your reason, which is way better!

Mine is the first two letter from the first name + the first two from the surname. Got it as a username for our computers way back in school. The 01 is nothing more than an indicator that it’s the first version of that name.

Hi Basher - nice story!

As a synth-guy I also have the problem of not being able to the gear in the boot, however I used to have an XKR which could hold a full keyboard rig! Recommended fast car for most musos!

My forum name “Gom-Jabbar” is the name I use for my solo music. It comes from the sci-if Frank Herbert book “Dune” where the Gom-Jabbar was a deadly test to see if you were human or animal!
