We've given our cars names for 20 years or more. It began when we acquired a Ford Escort 1.4 from a relative. It was brown and slow and became known as sluggy. The next named car was a 406 Coupe, named Polly Peugeot. Others have been Alfie (Alfa) and Fifi (Fiat). At the moment we have Mick Jaguar (F type), Bubble (Abarth) and Lexie (the XE).

I suppose it was a way of differentiating rather than using 'my car' or 'your car', as either of us would take the most suitable car for the journey.

Although, thinking about it the ones she liked somehow became 'her car' and those she didn't like became 'my car' 🙄.

Quiet man, have been asked by a couple on here to explain my user name so here goes. After 2 run ins with cancer of my throat and larynx the second time was in June 2020 unfortunately despite check ups and visits to the hospital felling unwell it went un diagnosed until it reached stage 4. Long story short I lost my voice box and gullet and now have a laryngectomy so I breathe through a hole in my neck and can no longer speak. I try to look on the funny side of things hence the name. Please guys no sympathy I've had my far share. Thank you.
White V6S, red interior. Black 20inch alloy wheels.
