I just found by a chance an article on the chinese owners of the MG brandname.

They come to market with two models, but also they have an EV coupe in the pipeline. Looks like a copy of the lines
and the basic sizes of the F-Type to me...

A      2+2 version..  with a long wheel base..

Yeah, they put a Mazda grille on it to hide the F-Type lines. ;)

...but at least it should be reliable and hasn't been fitted with Pirellis :D

We have a proverb wicht loosely translates as "..better steal a good concept then make a bad one.." .. :mrgreen:

Er, excellent though your English is, it should be "..better steal a good concept than make a bad one.."

It may have Jaguar lines, and a Mazda grille shape, but it also has Mercedes side sculpture and diamond effect grille ...

As above, its not an unpleasant overall design ... I wonder if they would make the F-type based shooting brake that Jaguar wont make ...

Yep. Sometimes I am sloppy with the spelling with hilarious results.. :roll:

In reality it actually might happen when the Chinese get something wrong the same way : look at the doorhandles on chinese height...

I can see why JLR doesn't make it. There are various horrendous looking BMW type's with this kind of concept. :o

Dan, funny but who cares
I’ve always thought forums are about cars not language. I work in 3 languages and believe me some of my French and Spanish errors are amusing

As for the copies. Not a bad effort here.
Take a look at the Evoque. They can do perfect copies of the want :)
