Has anyone recently been able to acquire a Project 7 grill surround. When I tried I was knocked back by the dealer.

So when you going to tell us all, how, where etc you purchased it..the procedure of fitting etc.
I have the Red beast and absolutely love the look of that grille. Takes the look to another level.
Kicks the new 2020 shape into a cocked hat.
Love it..very envious. :)

It's a shame the crash beam couldn't be painted with invisible colour. I've toyed with , do you do it Satin or matt black. I have the old one that Daddydarren took of his . When he fit his genuine one. The grill is not bad but the surround is too flimsy.

I bought the grille and surround from my local dealer using a VIN I found on a thread here somewhere. Can’t remember which one though. I think it was about removing the front bumper about a month ago.

No issue with the dealer.

As a newbie here and to the marque, could someone explain this grille to me please? From what I can gather the F Type has a bar running horizontally across the centre of the grill - looks like a structure/crash bar or similar.
the picture above with the project 7 grille, looks as though that bar remains in place - but the new grille sits in front of it? Is this right?

I do like the look of this mod... just not sure i fully understand how its been created...!

Thanks

The front plastic beam was décor. Behind the grill lies the crash beam.

Thank you... that makes sense. Surprised we don’t see more with that beam removed
