Sat in one in the JLR dealership in Derby pre Covid. Basically just a 4 seater converted into a 2 seater track car and kept road legal, but with all the performance tweaks thrown in. Very specialist and halo for the range. They do a 'road biased' version - 4 seats and some leather interior
Would love it for a day, but hardly a commute, family or shopping car
This video may interest, which to me is far more impressive than pure straight line speed with it's record breaking run ring run. Pushing 170 within a minute (c60-170 in c30 seconds from video timer 0.35 to 1.07 is mighty impressive
Note that it's 360 so you can view road, driver, rear, etc.

Subtle enhancements to create the car I wanted from SVR nose cone, 400 series side skirts & customised 'design' rear bumper, to heated SVR steering wheel and more

Another very nice video from Harry. Hadn't seen that great 360 video before. Makes me want to pop over to the Autobahn and the ring. I live 20 minutes from a deristricted Autobahn and another hour from the ring. Unfortunately we got this year's first snowflakes last night so they've been gritting like crazy, and the roads are still a bit soggy so no ideal high speed conditions yet.
Amazing car indeed. Sat around in one or two of them in my dealer's showroom too. Properly sporty interior. For the extremely few occasions that I need a rear seat I wouldn't mind having a sleeper version without wing and stickers.
When I visited Castle Bromwich the other year they had a few probably freshly built Project 8s standing around which just looked a bit odd because they had already started producing the facelift version of the normal XE. Still a cracking looking car and still the best looking Jag saloon since the facelift X250 XF.
