So having settled into a new home and sorted the interior, built a gym and fully landscaped, I can focus on the more important matter of my garage as I'm now fed up with boxes on the floor..
Loft is now boarded, lighting and power up to spec. so now to equip it.

I'd like to get away from wooden workbenches and wall bracket shelving and have workbenches and wall cupboard storage across one end and shelving down at least one side (c6mx6m). Prices seem to vary from pure bespoke garage fit out that are priced above where I want to be, to low grade basic warehouse racking with little in between

The type of thing I'm after is something like this (both have different elements in the range):
https://www.bigdug.co.uk/workshop-workb ... eal-p19952
or this:
https://adexa.co.uk/Professional-Grey-a ... dexa-TC008

Either sort in a combination of widths and components to cover most of the end wall. I don't intend to drop an engine on it to strip down and already have a decent tall stainless mobile tool cabinet to add in

Before I hit 'buy now' from one of a couple of sites does anyone have any set-up that was cost effective, looks reasonable, works well and something I could consider?
Any thoughts appreciated

The gym was presumably to keep his wife out of the way!

Philskill has a very nice set-up here.....viewtopic.php?p=43456#p43456

Could be worth speaking with him before you hit 'buy now'?

Thanks guys
So to pick up on some points so far:

Of course the gym was for my wife - how can she complain if we start with a woman cave?
Of course garage should be first, but I’m playing a longer game :)
Philskill set-up looks great -price point is probably too high, but I’ll check it
Will check out Machine Mart - hadn’t considered

Thanks and please keep ideas coming

Sort your floor out first.
At the very least a good garage floor paint, but consider the matting

Thanks Tony
I got that painted before we even moved in. Sadly hot F Type tyres lifted it on the parking contact points ,so I will be going with matting at some point
