I use the gtechniq shampoo on mine.

I also meant to add... Adam at gtechniq gave me lots of really good advice on the phone and via Detailing World forum

Thanks everybody, all the options seem good but still don't know which is the best, but I do tend to overanalyse things. I think I will try and go to a ftype meet and see some results.

Just came across this product: Topcoat F11

https://topcoat.store/

I watched a video that came up on my FB newsfeed. Appeared to be quite effective and easy to apply. It can also be used on acrylics, vinyl & leather etc..

Anybody tried it?

Crystal serum light and exo2 applied 10 months ago. Still really pleased with the results.

agreed - I had my coating applied by autodetox in Cannock - if you mess up the application it will be a blighter to get off - I believe wet sanding is needed,

i'm picking up my black f type tomorrow and am having the car detailed and then ceramic coated beforehand.
As i live in a hard water area i normally use an Agua Gleam water softening cartridge system on my rinse water. This makes an incredible difference by virtually eliminating every water spot that appears even after drying.

Assuming that this is still safe to use on the ceramic coat?

It’s fine to use.
My last three cars (black, orange and red) all had a ceramic coat and I also used an Aqua gleam with no issues.
