Hi Grahamp,
I bought the cover when I bought the car and pushed the dealer hard on price as I was also having some issues on the car, they only knocked 25 quid off. It fits perfectly and stays in place without any straps which is great for popping it on and off quickly.
The only issue is it is not waterproof so gets soaking wet in rain and then takes some time to dry out and can even make the car sweat in some conditions. It would probably be perfect with a cheap waterproof cover over the top but messing about with 2 covers does not appeal.
However, compared to leaving the car outside without a cover, I'd say well worth getting. No bird mess, sap from trees, dirt, dust and general muck all kept off and it goes some way to hiding the real identity from would be theives or vandals.

Grahamp,

With regards F-type specific car covers, I specified the following custom cover for my 2016 V6S Coupe Manual from new, so i have had it since July 2016 and it is still in great condition and working well.

It fits it very well and is a full lined outdoor stormshield cover, which works well to protect paint from sunlight, tree sap etc, bird droppings, dust and the like. It fits snugly over the wing mirrors and has an elasticated base, plus some clip straps at points that go right under the car, to stop wind getting hold of it. The inside is soft lined. They are a little pricey but very much worth the investment to protect the cars condition. The car is under this cover during the summer months but back in a dry garage through the winter it is a heavier thickness of cover than the usual or indoor ones.

Same as above โ˜๏ธ

I use the OEM first, then the Specialised Waterproof Outdoor Cover goes on top. Snug & dry as in all weathers. Cover comes with four webbing straps but two under the belly keep everything secure.

Thanks both, I sent you a PM for some feedback on the cover from your experience.

hello there

thats a perfect fit car cover, it fit like a glove. not sure what was the price but it look expensive.
i got one from www.carcover.com. the fit is good but no mirror pockets. it is pretty thick, the inside layer is made with cotton. i would recommend but it is not a custom fit car cover.
