Finally bought a proper 0ppm water filter and ....wow!
Rinsed car off with it and perfect spot free results without any drying. Tested with meter and indeed is 0ppm
Had previously used a cheaper small vessel which was a lot better than tap water but nothing like this.
Easily the best £80 I’ve spent on car stuff and huge time saver.
Well recommend. Will post link or pm if interested

Yup, I got one recently too after seeing them recommended on here. Combined with a blower, I can get the car washed and dried with a lot less effort than before.

Yep got a bigbio blower too but this sort of eliminates it unless in a hurry to detail after.
Ceramic coating helps a lot too

Does it negate the need to use shammy ?

If so I'm in.

No-one uses a chamois these days - gotta be microfibre. ;)

Absolutely! No drying at all involved even in the sun. In fact that’s the best way to speed up drying.

Can you send the link to the chat. I use a leaf blower but thinking of getting one of these too to make it even easier

The combo of the water filter tank and the air blower meant I didn't touch the car after washing it. We have very hard water down here (dishwasher has to be set to the hardest water setting, for example) and washing the cars in anything but cloudy, cool weather was an exercise in frustration. The tank was about £100 and the blower was another £150 I think. Yes, I could have got the car wrapped when I bought it, but I didn't, so these help me keep the paintwork looking as good as possible for as long as possible.
