Strange Damage to PPF

That's a really good point. By waterproof cover, do you mean the whole car weatherproof covers?

That doesn't look like the same type of damage - mine is much more of a splattered-type pattern on the PPF, whereas the damage on the Mazda is the paintwork.

I'm going to see my car tomorrow afternoon, so I'll take some photos of the affected area now the PPF is off.
