Not sure if this sort of thing is allowed on here but thought it may be of use to other owners.
When I purchased my car a coating was applied to protect the paint finish. Unfortunately they didn't prepare the surface prior to the application very well. The frustration of not being able to clean off various smears etc was really "annoying" me. (polite version).
I contacted the Professional Valeters & Detailers
Trade Association and they recommend the company below.
I don't even let the garage wash my cars when serviced as I worry too much.
I'm really pleased with the results , pure guard removed and two days of intensive care applied. I can't recommend Ravi enough he has done an amazing job. If you think anyone can clean a car , so did I.
He has put a few pics of my ftype on his Facebook page - regal vehicle services.

What was the coating that had to be removed webbo?

We had gTecnic applied to our first F-Type courtesy of our dealer. Unfortunately it was not applied correctly sand the results were horrendous. That car found a new owner I beleive.

The coating was Pure Guard , but I have to say it wasn't the fault of the coating it was poor preparation prior to the application.
