Hi - did Jaguar make a light blue f Type early in the car's life? Anyone remember the name?

was it an official colour? I didn't see it in the early brochures. The only blue i know of is the British Design Edition.

I might have imagined it - or maybe it was a silver that looked a bit blue?

I recall seeing a French racing blue, the owner paid a ton extra for it as an option I think (it was a colour available on the XK at the time, I think?).

Could it have been Lunar Grey?? I feel pretty sure that that colour had a slight blue tint to it.

I quite liked the look of that colour but it seemed to be pretty rare when I was looking for my car at the time.

Good question......I'm not so sure that is Lunar Grey....That's a definite blue. Not a grey with a blue hue.
