Engine warning light, misfire on cylinder 5 - do you think someone is telling me that F-Type ownership isn't for me :(

Feel your pain, I had to reject my 1st ftype also as it kept breaking down ironically with Injectors failing! Hope it's fixed pdq for you!

Just booked my car in for it's 3rd service and the dealer told me that they strongly recommend that they carry out an extra job that is not part of the original service plan......To clean the injectors and add a fuel treatment/cleaner (like Redex I suppose).

....seems like they are just trying to make sure that all is good re: injector failure (????)

I've just had my 4th service, which is the 64000 mile one on my V6s (i haven't done anywhere near that). Dealer price? £850 :)

It's new air filters, pollen filter, spark plugs and a few other bits too. I didn't pay anywhere near that, but if you do not have a service plan beware!

Sad news but I genuinely hope all now resolved and you've been out and about forgetting about this hick-up ... new car looks stunning, rgds Paul
Storm Grey V6 coupe, fun, fast, popping and crackling with smiles all the way ... missed more than I expected!

C43 AMG estate, lots of toys, like the F-Type but with 4 seats and far more stealthy but still with pops and crackles!
