So here it is, a new to me V8R.
Still not worked out all the options, apart from.
A wing, heated fronts screen and wheel, incontrol apps, stealth pack (whatever that is), some extra aero stuff, flat bottomed wheel, rear camera, decent leather, some sort of finish on the console a service pack and project seven wheels...

It's been a bit of a change from the GTR, much more refined and slightly more remote if that makes sense. Initial impressions are very good though it is a very emotive car it will take me a while to learn it's limits.

Some quick photos, more arty stuff will come along at some point.

Very nice photos a credit to your skills.
I would be interested to hear your opinions regarding the F vs the GTR.
I would have had a GTR if they did a 2WD convertible type!

Thanks very much.

Re GTR V Ftype, they are similar. 500bhp + 4wd coupe but very different.

My initial impression was that the ftype is much more refined, softer, a little more remote. Especially the steering.

However on refection I have owned GTR;s for 6 years and done many many miles in them. I had utter confidence in the car and how it would react. The ftype is new to me, it will take a little while to get to grips with it.

Whilst the GTR is a well renowned giant killer I think the ftype is closer than a lot of people might think.
The GTR is harder, rawer, the steering has better feel the gear changes punch you in the back, but the Ftype ..

You sit lower (this is very important) you feel in the car not on it. The sound is epic, the looks are amazing, once rolling the power is all there.

Cornering ... Ask me in a couple of weeks.

I would say to anyone who loves car, you should own a GTR for a bit they are amazing.

Love the Ftype though......

Lovely looking car and excellent photo's 8-) 8-)
Here's an interesting comparison if no one has seem it.
Both excellent cars IMHO but the Jag won hands down for me in the end ;)
