Since I have posted once or twice I thought I should reveal my version of the F type.

Looks lovely Dave, you can see the 'pearl' metallic effect in the sunlight. I nearly went for Firesand, but the other halves favourite colour is Red...she won!

Thanks guys.

Jamie I hummed and hahed about black wheels and in the end I opted for silver!

When the sun isn't shining in the UK which does seem to be quite a lot I think black wheels do not look so good. (Hides behind computer chair for the black is best flak :) )

My last car a BMW Z4 definitely rode better on the smaller sized rims than the larger so I stayed with 19's.

It's all part of the option list/choices fun of course.

Been great down here over the past week or so for some hood down acoustic fun!

The great thing about the F type is that each one is personal, and there is me saying black wheels would look great, when I have silver wheels as well Embarrassed

I am thinking about getting a set of black wheels, jaglanduk.co.uk sell oem wheel sets direct at about half the main dealer price so I might get a set from them, we will see Smile

What colour is the interior ? black with the sunburnt stitching ?

speak soon

Customising a car to your own spec is quite a bit of the fun of car ownership but once you have an F type other things seem to come into play!

No the interior 'colour' scheme was slightly affected by previous cars. I find that some schemes may look great when there is plenty of sunlight/daylight but look quire dark/dull when there isn't.

I opted for the Stone Grey /Mineral scheme, probably boring to some but as is always quoted, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Not too light to mark easily nor too dark for the sombre feel.

Having had the car for nearly a year, the fun element is still there and I suspect will be for quite a while to come.

Geminii - I'm with you on the dark interiors. We looked at many different styles, and I would have had black leather...that was, until I saw how light and airy an Ivory one is.
Unfortunately though the light colours are a mare to keep nice so I dropped a shade or two to Red..I just wasn't brave enough to do the Coffee colour either....
