Finally got round to having my OEM Project 7 Grill/Surround fitted. This replaces the aftermarket version fitted a couple of years ago.

As part of the job the body shop removed the two centre PDC sensors. They also painted, gloss black, the front crash bar which sits behind the grill, the front lower splitter & the side winglets. Also had the front nose resprayed whilst removed from car...

New growler badge & stickered number plate fitted. Will take better photo of finished article when chance arises.

Looks absolutely mint. Brilliant local body shop carried out the work. Thank you to those who gave recommendations & to look away from main dealers 👍

What was wrong with the replica one you had fitted. I was just about to buy one.

Very nice Darren, huge improvement over the previous one and the lower splitter makes a big difference

The surround was very poor quality & ‘floppy’. Once fitted you could see the pinch points where the fixings were. Looked fine from a distance though 😄 Not fit for purpose. The surround is ok though.

A good option would to utilise the OEM normal surround. Get it filled, where bumper bar sits each end, & then painted. Then fit a one-piece grill.

I will probably sell the one piece grill. Also have two sensor pockets too. Let me know if interested?

How did they disable the front parking sensors?

They are still connected to the front PDC loom but have been securely cable-tied & fixed where the main loom wiring runs.

Had no additional affect from previous. Select reverse, sensor activated, cancel P button on consul. Thought all sorts would go off but not the case. Glad to get rid 👍

Hi Darren. I did send you a P.M but not sure you got it. To say I will probably have the grill from you.
