Which of these Jags do you think has covered more miles? One is a 1962 E Type, the other is mine.

Lovely old E Type. I'm guessing the F Type has done more miles

The E Type has done ony 500 kms following a 5 year full refurbishment/restoration, including original engine and drive train, my F Type has done 17K kms.
Amazing who you can meet on a Sunday moring at the local servo.......turns out the proud owner of the E Type is is a neighbour of mine, living only a couple of streets away. Had a lovely time going to have a look at the rest of his collection, 3 pre war MG's including a 1933 K3, one of only 30 made apparently.
Way out of my weight class re knowledge of these vehicles but my new 'mate' was very patient with me.

That’s automotive porn. I have always wanted an E Type, and still do.

In fact when the time is right and only if I can keep it in the way it deserves, I’ll get one. I bought the F Type as a means of partly satisfying the itch with an everyday usable car.

You have a better climate in Australia to keep cars like this going.
