Looks great!- really like the BRG colour. Saw one when I visited the factory earlier in the year. One of those colours that looks different in bright light - it looked much more metallic than I was expecting. You must be absolutely delighted - many congratulations on the new car. Love the interior too - classic colour combination. Class motor.

BRG was just too dark for me. Would have loved it to be a few shades lighter.

The Camel interior is very, very classy indeed. A real classic colour that brightens and warms the cabin's appearance beautifully.

Let us know how you get on running it in! Enjoy!

Good morning Tel,
If I lived in the UK I would have probably gone for Ammonite with cirrus interior. But as an Englishman living in Switzerland I wanted also to make a statement on my origins.
My first car was a Spitfire mk IV. 30yrs ago. Never owned a British car since. I was planning to buy an Aston Martin a bit later in life, but the F Type just blow me away

That's interesting Paul - I have just sold a concours Spit 1500 1978.
I built it many years ago, and had little use since.
I always felt quite 'small' on the roads compared with most cars today.

The F-Type was my first foray back into British cars.

Tel,

yes that is interesting. I wonder if any other F type owner had a Spitfire before!

Hi - just to chip in - I had a Spitfire - red 1500 - 1978 - mint condition with two huge exhausts coming out at of the back at exactly the same place as my F Type
I loved it - but I agree it felt tiny compared to modern cars - made a huge noise for a small engine and long journeys weren't for the faint hearted !!
Sold it to a mate who re-loacted to Poland and drove the car there and back - good solid british engineering
ps - the inerior of your F Type looks fabulous - the BRG also look amazing - bet you can't wait
