...but I still can't wipe the smile off my face.
It's been a long wait
good plan - yours is the only other one I've seen - its a great colour isn't it? when my other half wants me to do something she gets round me by saying its the car and colour that James Bond would choose for his days off - i'm so shallow it works every time
V8 AWD Coupe - Indus Silver
Dear James,
Beautiful - Great colour choice, and the wheels certainly set it off.
Some colours 'just look better IMO' and highlight the wonderful lines of the F.
Ammonite, does just that.

Yes, there is a bit of a special feeling when you first get to drive these cars, Suspect though that you should check your bank statement if the other half is being too complementary
The colour is great and as you previously said is kind of understated, but will still look good in 5 years time I reckon. It's got some of the characteristics of the Stratus grey colour - looks different in different light conditions. My other half describes it as "classy", so who am I to argue.
Looking for any excuse to drive it, even if I have to make them up.
Tel, not sure why you are calling me James (I'm Kevin), but all forgiven as you have kindly complemented my colour choice.
The wheels look even better than I though they would. Have been told that I cannot take out alloy wheel insurance on them as they are not repairable if curbed or damaged. I don't even want to think about what they cost individually.
Already paranoid about parking it but that goes with the territory I guess.
Sorry Kevin,
My dry sense of humour when you mentioned Bond! mY names not Q either!
You certainly learn how to have to park accurately. I had the Jet balck Cyclones and after 6 months of motoring, they had not a scratch on them. I had to re-think how I parked, and it always required going in backwards first and never driving onto a slot that had a curb.
My next F is having the forged Blades, and likewise, the diamond cut edges, whilst they are not impossible to refinish would cost an arm and a leg.

Looks great, really like the colour, reminds me of Audi Daytona grey which is a really nice colour.
As for curbing alloys I've managed to keep my Blade alloys pristine for 11 months, I think the cost of a refurb has made me even more careful than usual, the rear arches don't make it easy when reversing that's for sure.

Tel, I was way behind the curve there and didn't pick up on the joke. Nice one!
