Oh Carl, if you're concerned about fuel consumption use the "milk float" Rain and Snow mode! lol
A brace of Coupes
Thanks for the info Carl, I suppose dynamic mode changes settings for various components including gearing which I would presume would be the exact same, for just the gearing, when S mode is applied. I occasionally use automatic but prefer using manual paddle shifting...absolutely love changing up gears and making the bad ass load bangs between gears, even at very low speeds!!!

Tony at Hexham is one of the nicest people in the TVR world. He sold me a couple over the yearsRichard
Yes he is and the service is top notch, wouldn't go anywhere else. In fact a lot of his
Customers come down from Scotland. Have you had TVRs?

Haha...milk float setting is horrendous but Im sure it will have value in poor conditions.
Give the S auto setting a go in dynamic, I think you'll be surprised how good it is ..... a lazy mans way to get consistent bangs and crackles! Post up your findings/thoughts :)

Carl, not sure you get the really loud bangs on automatic mode, unless you really boot it so it goes to max revs I guess. As I rarely use automatic mode Im not really that aware of big bangs sounding in that mode. On manual mode, be it normal or sport, I can make really loud bangs between 0-30 mph with not very high revs and the cool thing is you can time the bang when you want to, great fun when you go through a narrow street, old ladies don't like it though, scares the sh*t out of them, lol. Ill convert you from a lazy man to a more fun manual mode guy!

Oh, by the way, use paddle shift to get those big bangs, if and when you experiment with it.
Anyways, have fun Carl in which ever mode you're in mate, and drive safe...bit difficult with the F-Type as it always beckons you to drive it fast and hard, well, mine does.

I've only had two full days in it so experimenting....and I'm just loving this car. Weather been so poor that I haven't driven it midweek. Washed on Sunday, waxed on Monday, sat there since. But even parked up I get soo much pleasure from it ðŸ˜
Bri, I'm sure with the power at hand the milk float certainly has its place, I was lucky to get a weekend of good weather, and still found the back end twitching off a roundabout or two . What a car......what a car!!!!!!!
