The best solution I’m sure.

Can I ask which SIM card you have bought, what it costs and if it’s worth having over standard sat nav ? Only got my car yesterday and it got me home fine (200 miles)

I fitted the 3 preloaded data sim from mymemory. Put it in the reader and car picked it up 4G signal immediately with no further activation.

I have bought the same SIM and inserted it into the appropriate slot as directed, but when I try to enable Mobile Data in the connectivity menu it just says Mobile Data Not Available

I also notice when I click on about, there is no MAC address or IEMI displayed, just dashes.

The SIM works as I pout it in a MiFo unit and can connect and surf the net.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Andrew

bigknd wrote: Mon Mar 12, 2018 6:54 am Going against the grain here, but I have the new system 2018 model car and the sat nav is fantastic, just plan my route on my phone/pc using Jags route planner adding waypoints if necessary then get into car and boom route is there (uses 3g data sim card).
Can't fault the new infotainment system tbh regular free map updates (over the next 3 years) I also use Waze on my phone for my other car but don't need to in the F-type ;)
Hello same as mine .. I have a MY2018 model (17 plate)

the newer sat nav works a treat plus like you said I use the route planner get in the car and the destination is already there
