Has anyone on here fitted the OEM footrest and if so, what size drill did you use - 5mm?

The size will be obvious when you get the footrest

We had the dealer fit when it was being serviced. The instructions don't match the footrest though ronniet2017-04-10 19:10:10

I have mounted it om my car, and it's really easy. Can't remember drill size, but when you have the parts you will know. Exact size is not important

Some have the screws already welded to the footplate

Interesting, I'm trying to visualise how that would get fitted if the bolts/screws are welded to the plate?

If the studs are welded on the whole assembly just push fits into the plastic plugs. The plugs would be pushed into the pre drilled holes in the bulkhead

Thanks Ronnie, I think all will become clear once it arrives tomorrow.
If I understand things correctly, I use the the rubber as a template to drill the 3 holes, push in the grommets and then use the three screws to expand the self clinching grommets. Remove the three screws and simply push the footrest into position.
