fixed rear spoiler
Hi Guys has any one retro fitted the jag fixed rear spoiler I have asked our local dealer bud they say it cant be done due to software issues with the original deploy able spoiler, surely it cant be that difficult as they must have a down load for when they fit one as a dealer option. Any info would be greatly appreciated
I was thinking about it also. Was told the same by the dealer.
To my knowledge, once fitted, you simply remove the fuse for the standard spoiler to rise above 75mph?
I'm sure any tuning house could do this?

If the fuse were removed, would the car not be restricted on speed as it would potentially be unstable with no additional rear downforce? Surely some software adjustment would be needed to over-ride this.
I'm totally the wrong person to confirm that - simply going by what I overheard
