Swopping Key Fobs

Had car six months now & just about to be tucked away for winter. When purchased it came with the two key fobs. Have only used one so far.

Do any of you swop fobs? Thinking this would even the load on them 🤔

Well it would because it would even out the battery drawdown but I doubt if many of us consciously do because it doesn't really matter. If a battery goes down you use the flip key and it's no big deal to swap keys or change a battery anyway.

Would never even think about swapping keys as they are not rechargeable. On rechargeable it's important to use them every few months to keep them charged, but not on our cars.

Keep a decent Duracell spare handy

When I first collected my F-TYPE I received 2 new keys in a lovely presentation box. My wife asked if the second key was for her, after laughing hard I replied NO! The second key is securely stored away.
