Hi Everyone
I have had an engine failure after just 11,000 miles on a 2 1/2 year old R AWD.
It started making a clattering sound and now won't start. The dealer said it is the engine. The short time frame is worrying
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Engine fail on a F-Type R AWD after only 11,000 miles
Fortunately not.
Was the oil changed at a dealership and what was the levels like?
Reason I ask, if you head over to the US forums there was one other owner that had engine issues that may have been down to the dealer and/or oil change procedures.

Hi everyone, I'm not a troll, at least not since I last looked in the mirror!
The car is in a dealership and Jaguar are currently trying to get out of replacing the engine. It's very sad that the manufacturer of a £97,000 car are trying to get out of a fault such as this. I will keep you updated as to their final response.
