The windscreen washers have stopped working.

I can hear the pump trying to do its thing but nothing's coming out of the jets.
I've checked the jets and pipes back to the connectors just under the bonnet and they're clear.
Plenty of fluid in the resevoir.

Working on the basis there's some blockage somewhere, does anyone know where the pump is located (try and ascertain if the blockage is before or after the pump).
Or if anyone has a schematic for the washer system?

Thanks

I believe the pump is behind the front, o/s, wheel arch liner.

Have you tried the headlight washers to see if there's water to them? Might help in determining where a blockage might be.

No I havent yet.
I presume there's a separate pump for the headlamps?

Try it and see if the pump noise is from the same location at the same time as checking if it sprays the lights.

It would appear that the headlamp washers don't even try.
No movement whatsoever.

Headlight wash only happens every 4th window wash.

Isn't there a separate headlight wash switch? Otherwise, very 4th wash of screen brings on the h/light wash as you say.

Common problem on many cars is that screen cleaner turns to a gel and blocks the mesh filter in the washer bottle. I'd pursue that line of investigation given you know the motor is spinning and there is water in the tank
Cause is usually mixing types of screen wash. My BMW Z4 needed cleaning out every few years
