I need to put a data SIM in my newly acquired F-Type. No idea what sort of data or package is needed. Any recommendations?
I am based in the UK and have been told that THREE is the way to go, but not sure whether to buy a pre-paid with a few Gb and then top it up, or whether to get a monthly subscription, and if so, how much allowance is sensible?
Many thanks

Excellent. That sounds like the plan. The Three 12Gb /12 month SIM is currently about £35, and it looks like that will last at least a year or so in normal usage. Not bad for £3 per month. I'll go for that. Thank you for the replies

Three now offer free SIMs that give you 200 MB per month free. They work forever, as long as you use data at least every six months, which you will if you put one in your car for traffic updates etc. 200MB is plenty for one month.

Works well in may car - The only thing to bare in mind is that you have to activate it by putting it in a phone first before you put it in your car.

This was mentioned on the "saloon" forums around August last year and I didn't know it was still on offer.
Quite a few got hold of them and registered them in a phone and apparently they worked ok and haven't heard any issues.
I just wonder if they spank you cost wise for additional data if you go over your 200Mb limit.
Personally I've always coughed up about £30 for the data only "3" sim lasting 12 months turning the monthly data limit off in the car.
Plug and play so no registration needed.
