The rear shelf on my 2018 coupe drops off the attachment pins when the boot is closed/opened. On inspection, the pins on the side moulding are too short, or the parcel shelf is faulty. My local service centre agrees that it is a problem but it's not, apparently, something which has occurred often enough to trigger a recall or other alert from Jaguar.
Has anyone else had this issue and been able to solve it? (Picture is inverted to give a better view of the pin and attachment).

I had the same issue and got the dealer to fixed a few times until the pin snapped off (driver side) and they had to replace with a new pin. The new pin they fixed was more appropriately sized (longer pin) and the parcel shelf has not dropped ever since. I think that was about 9 months ago.

Same occurred on my first F-type and rejected the car (also a list as long as your arm of other problems).
