Very interesting, especially the ‘SC sound Tube deletion pipe’!
What are your thoughts on this?
I’m still under warranty but did promise I’d change something each year. Think I’m having it lowered Spring 2019, then following year more power & noise!
Look forward to reading your take on this mod

*Please note that this kit lowers the air intake points of the engine from the middle of the main grill to about 8 inches below this. So extreme care must be taken not to drive through standing water*
£1,074 plus fitting. For 6 extra torques and 15bhp on an SVR so presumably less on a V6. Nice but no thanks, must be easier and cheaper ways to go quicker and void a warranty.
I'd prefer to spend my money on a drive in the rain to the airport and spend 2 weeks in Spain!

Lowering the intakes is not to be considered. 8" below the centre is crazy. About 3 years ago I wrote of a two week old 300 miles S class Mercedes by driving through standing water. I was told after the event by Mercedes that the intakes are set low, but I bet they are not as low as The Jaguar ones would be with this mod

£1,000 for a cone filter hanging near the ground
If this were April 1st I'd understand it better

Subtle enhancements to create the car I wanted from SVR nose cone, 400 series side skirts & customised 'design' rear bumper, to heated SVR steering wheel and more

They are offering several options
Tbh the replacement panel filter and whine delete seems a better option
None of the options are really designed to offer any noticeable gains more really for supercharger whine.....
I wld be vary wary of a low placed cone filter and water ingress risk

well the standard models can only cope with 6" of water at 4mph !!

I would like to see the filters mounted behind the outer of the two fish gills {pre 18 cars} on the front bodywork. There is a simple mod to remove the plastic blank.
The only problem may be the length of tube between the filter and sc?
Low mounting like this is fine for the track, but on UK roads, could be risky.
The cost for effectively an extension tube to the MAF and a cone filter is absolutely rediculous. Bet on paying 200 quid a side for the hardware.
Watch the US forums. We are pushing for Mina to produce CF intake tubes, at a reasonable price.

Yes i emailed mina but didnt get very far
This is a very simple mod ....very little fabrication required....
That low down the potiental for a disaster is quite high as hit a 4 inch dip in the road with laying water
I am just after something that looks half decent and makes the supercharger whine audible

I don't know what the issue is here.
Just fit one of these.
Job done!
