Amber Engine warning and misfire
Did you get this resolved? Mine is in garage showing similar faults ( eml on and struggling idle) but as yet they’ve not got to bottom of it, it wasn’t coil pack(s), they changed them , it’s missing on one cyl (2) mainly, but showing missing on adjacent cylinders (1&3) also, it’s a V6 not V8 though, 25K miles.

UPDATE
Thought Id close the thread with an update of the fault and advice for anyone else. It turned out that the good folk on here were absolutely correct and it was a failed injector. Two, infact. At the exact same moment. Yeah, I should have done the lottery that day! Although the fix was in theory simple, as was also correctly suspected on this forum, one came out the other did not. Long story short it is yet another well known issue with the Jaguar engine. Jaguar dealership wanted over 6K to fix it to which I kindly told them to go forth and multiply. I found a fantastic local guy in Harrogate who specialises in Jags and he got the job done for just over £1500. Literally involved drilling the injector out as Jag had snapped it off... The car is semi happy again but I'vee still got an engine light come on now for an O2 sensor that's been damaged as a result of the abundance of fuel during the injector fail. My honest advice - get a dam good extra warranty on the V8 certainly. Thanks again for all your feedback!

Glad its sorted - I really hope you dont have more issues, based on my experience once they start going they all seem to start failing in close succession. Sounds like you had a good result with the one stuck in the head, they elected to fit a complete new cylinder when they did it on the 1st car, god knows how much the claim would of been for this!
I'm slighly nervous about MOT time in May on mine incase the CAT was damaged as mine was massively overfuelling
