I have 19" silver propellor alloys on my V6S. One or two have a little - ahem - curb rash.

Hoping to do a little DIY repair, I have sanded and primed the areas, but the silver alloy paint I have is not a good enough match.

Need more sparkle!

Does anyone know where I could find the paint code?

Alternatively, does anyone know of an off the shelf close match?

Prefer rattle cans to touch-up pots.

Hi you have just reminded me the I didn’t update my previous post on wheel touch up paint after asking the same question - I’ll look it up and update now.

I purchased the silver sparkle from jaguar - it was a brush touch up kit but it is a good match. I have the same wheels as you. There was some issues getting paint sent through the post unless a courier was used which significantly added to the cost so I ordered via my jaguar dealer and collected it in person.

Ah, thanks, great. The code is C2A1237.
To get over the shipping problem, I've spotted there's someone selling it on the bay and willing to post.

But I might hold out for an aerosol one for a while.

Customer: Could I have a deodorant please?
Shopkeeper: Certainly sir. Ball or aerosol type?
Customer: Neither, it's for my armpits.

There's a Jaguar dealer (can't remember which one off the top of my head) that sells the full range of touch-up paints on Evilbay.
No issues with postage and mine arrived within 3 days.
