So I have a very annoying rattle cause by any bass in music when the volume is above about 10.
My VIN number is after the warranty bulletin that adds sound deadening material, supposedly the speaker rattle issue should have been solved by the time mine was produced (2016)

I’ve realised the main culprit is the wing mirror control joystick thingy, that you use to control the mirror angle. If I hold this, the vibrating rattle stops.

Has anyone experienced this and managed to rectify it themselves?

I used to get a rattle from a switch on my BMW above 2,500 rpm.

It was a switch on a funny stick with arrows on, sticking out from the steering column. I have no idea what it was for.

Anyway, I cut a tiny sliver of clear gel from a gel pad (or was it a gel heel insert?) and stuffed it under the edge of the switch.

Sorted.
