The valves are open as default and only close when vacuum builds up after the car is started. Would it not be better to just disconnect the vacuum pipes and blank them off. This would result in valves always being open eliminating the need to remove the fuse. Just an idea

Yes pop in the fuse back in and dont remove it again, it puts the car in limp mode, i changed my system on my 2.0 and blocked the vacuum pipe. I pulled the fuse incase anything would happen but it went to limp mode, so i put it back. Just block the pipe. I have the rear box removed and straight pipes out to 2, 4" tailpipes. I never use the active exhaust button
