For those that like to tinker... Just installed a set of ITG Maxogens this evening.

Excellent quality and shed a few kg's of flab.

Can hear the SC whine nicely now, happy as a pig in sh! t. :D

But youve left the noise surpressor on Tel!!!
As for water ingress dont drive through deep puddles, also the filter sits behind the wheel arch liner so is in a dry area even when raining.

The noise suppressor only dulls the induction roar, low frequencies fortunately...and I'm still waiting for Mina to manufacture the ceramic coated intake pipes to the SC. Ideally these suppressors get removed as do the resonators right by the y-branch.

@Gasman2 - Water ingress really is of no issue, unless of course as Timbo mentions, you are driving through deep standing water.

If you look closely at the photo, you can see a few cable ties in the background...that is securing the cold air snorkel that is collecting air just behind and above the cross member in the grille.

ITG make the gear, it's a third of the cost of the DAE kit and extremely good quality.
The filters are custom made Maxogen type (Thanks Gibbo for the idea). 15Hp gain, plus the SC whine is a bonus.
If you want more details, PM me.

I like those. Do they increase power and the whine on a V6 too? :D

Yep, same kind of setup, may need reducers as the MAF sensor, I think from memory, is slightly less in diameter than the V8.

If you want to PM me, I can send over the contact details of the Tech/sales guy.
