I am looking to remove the rear valance only V8 R AWD as I plan to fit the SVR valance and diffuser.

The diffuser comes off easily, but does anyone have instruction to remove valance. Do the parking sensors un plug and come away with the valance or do I need to take the painted bumper off to get to connectors?

Thanks in advance for any help

Best regards
Andrew

I can send you the Topix file, but I need to know your car.

If you put your make/model i.e Coupé/vert in your signature it helps.

Tel

Would it be better if I sent you the VIN number via DM?

I would be really pleased if you could get me the topix instructions

Many thanks

I have removed and replaced my rear bumper cover a couple of times. Manual section 501-19
Fairly simple process of undoing the various fixings across the upper and lower edges. First remove the black loadspace trim at the top edge (where the washer fluid is filled) remove wheel arch liners and using a very long socket extension the 2 bumper to wing fixings on each side. These are horrible to access.. Few other clips to pull apart as you work from the sides to the centre

Lights unclip when you remove cover, but be careful of all sorts of other electrics inside the bumper cover
It's a typical ungainly piece of plastic and easily scratched so rugs on ground and unless brave 2 people to pull it off

Firt time is an hour job, second 15 minutes

Spot on - No, don't need your VIN I have all the documents to hand.

I'll PM you, that plus cj10jeepers instructions should see you good.

Thanks Terry

Looks like I need to take the complete bumper off. I was hoping to just take the valance and diffuser off:-)

Thanks for sending.
