So this thread is for the ones of you who love the F-Type but cannot leave it alone & just drive it. Look on you tube at the Aldon . It does not pop & crackle like the standard car & I am talking about the daddy not the wimp 2.0 or the v6, this is just for you guys with the V8. It sounds amazing. I did some mods to my Rs turbo escort, Cosworth sapphire,,Skyline exhaust & my 911. I am going to do the same to the V8R & will post the results on to you tube with a link when done, as I believe the Ardon & others exhaust is a bit of a rip off & can be done in house with a tig welder & a bit of knowledge of exhaust system's . I am going to remove the complete cat's from both sides with the proviso that I can put them back on for the MOT. I am going to order the overdriven bottom pulley & new belt & have already had a quote from a guy in York who can do the ecu upgrade. I have located the 2 carbon fibre intake nossles that flow 25% more air. Then end result that I have found so far is with the larger intercooler, around 700 bhp.

Have you considered DAE? They do 200 cell cats, exhaust volume/note of your choosing, pulleys...the list goes on.

They sell and install VAP parts for the F-Types.

Well I have spent the last 2 hours checking out David Appleby engineering as advised above. Got so confused in the end with so many different upgrades I decided to ring them. It seems James the tech guy is at Monza with the race team until after the weekend. Sent him an E-Mail enquiry. I don't think I can go with the upgrade on the suspension as where I live it is a mass of speed bumps, which I nearly have to stop at to creep over. So any lower & crunch. Very interesting reading about the different upgrades for the V8 & also the same for the V6. Seems like there is a lot that can be done with both engines. From various ecu tunes to pulley size changes & sports cat's. My car is out of warrantee next year so perusing my options now. Seems the engines in these cars are quite reliable mechanically. The V8 more so. I think some of the V6 engines had injector & coil pack issues but generally bullet proof internals. If any of you have 13mins of time to spare watch the youtube clip here. It's the Arden jag.

Well sportscats and tune and upper pulley will yield 620bhp approx
Next step is lower pulley instead of upper and different plugs expect 640
Or both pulleys and tune and sportscats and plugs and intercooler will have u knocking on 700 door
All tried and tested by velocity ap
A valved back box imho is a little ott for the road as it is very loud
There are air filter options as well if u want to hear the supwrcharger whine
All very good quality and tbh a market leader

Thanks for that. So without delving into the 200 cell cats & larger intercooler what is expected.

Do these enable the F Type to do more than the elusive 200 MPH ?
The SVR I understand, Ex Factory can do 200 MPH ?
200 MPH seem's to be what differentiates the sport's and supercar

@ Gasman,
Just a question really, when I first went down the road of "seriously wanting to buy an F Type", the 200MPH thing kept cropping up in my online research.
Agree, unless you're on a runway, there's just no way to handle 200MPH Safely.
I did see a video showing the SVR breaking 200 MPH - Just. Perhaps the next Mid Engined version of the f Type (2020) will hit it easier.
