ZF behaviour

Hello Guys,

Yesterday I had 3 particular occurances of strange shifting behaviour I never noticed before and haven't experienced with my Ram with the ZF.

They all happened in normal mode and drive.

First was when I left work (engine and transmission 'cold') and came up to a roundabout. The car in front merged onto it I lift my foot of the brake and noticed it didn't roll like it normally does so I give it some gas which resulted in a very hard clunck as if the transmission was in neutral and all of a sudden slammed it in to first. The revs also went up faster then when you are in drive.

The second one was on the highway (same settings) while I was downshifting manually for a lorry. When I did the downshift from 6th to 5th at about 50mph it was very very hard (worrisome hard) shift and a surge. A lot harder compared to the shifts in Dynamic & sport.

I could replicate this once more under the same conditions.

I'm currently at 10000 km (6250 miles).

Anyone ever had something similair happening?

Not heard of it before but in general with any such issues that are likely electronics related
1) I ignore it unless it repeats on the next trip
2) disconnect the battery and leave it off for 10 minutes
If that doesn’t fix it after the system has rebooted go to a specialist or dealer

Thanks, did a 150 mile trip today and none of the two issues happened. Funky electronics. The GPS voice pitch today changed and she sounded as if she was drunk. after a restart she was sobered up again.
