It's 0-20W so yes I would say it's perfect.

They keep changing the spec.
If I recall the V6 in the F-type had two specs in the manual.
Same engine in the XE had only one....................
The Castrol was the only one to comply to start with and since then Fuchs, Motul and Millers have all got correct spec oils.
So looking recently at another manual for the 4 cylinder petrol (MY20) which was the same spec as the V6 and V8 they have changed it again.
Of course only castrol make it........at the moment.
Best thing is to check the manual for your car and put the JLR oil spec in the Opie Oils search box as certainly Millers is a lot cheaper.

My dealer switched form Castrol unobtanium to Mobil 1 for the last service...I'll see what they put in on Friday for it's next one.

So long as oil is Jaguar Land Rover - STJR.51.5122 compliant, there's a plethora of them to choose form now.

Agreed, but I wasn't aware Shell had a 0W20 to STJR 51.5122 spec.

Mobil 1 ESP x2 is compliant
As is Motul 5122 specific

There are a couple of others also

Edit

On further research

Shell Helix Ultra Professional AJ-L 0W-20

Is compliant with Jaguar STJR 51.5122 spec.
