I have tried to use the auto high beam function but have found it to be unreliable, consequently mine is now disabled.

What is the opinion of other drivers please?

I think it’s really good. Occasionally its a wee bit slow but generally I’m a fan.

Use it on my Evoque and daughter’s EPace and it’s outstanding on both
Couple of late dips that’s annoyed trucks (cab high, lights s low so not detected quickly)
Rest of time perfect
Wish my F Type had it..

Had it on Evoque too. Did switch it off due to a lot of night driving & been slow to react. Not got it on F-Type.

I have it on as default, but find it dim witted compared to my old C36. It seems easily confused in well lit areas and slow to respond to oncoming traffic when there is a bend or curve. Mercedes and BMW systems are far superior, but I didn't buy the car for its "smart" headlights :)

I tend to agree, it doesn’t respond quick enough and gets confused!

It’s back on manual mode now... 😉
