I don't know the answer but it's canbus. A Controller Area Network (CAN bus) is a vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other in applications without a host computer.

You can get access to all the documents you need via https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com for your vehicle. You need to pay for access unless someone can get you the pages you need. My subscription as expired.

Got 2 pages from one of the manual that cover part of what yon may need.

INPUT SIGNALS FOR LAMP CONTROL
The CJB receives inputs from the following switches:
Lighting control switch and left steering column multifunction switch
for turn signal indicators, side lamps, headlamps, low/high beam
/headlamp flash and autolamps.
Rear fog lamp switch.
Hazard warning lamp switch.
Brake pedal switch.
Stop/Start switch.
A reverse gear engaged signal is also received on the HS CAN bus
from the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) to enable the CJB to
activate the reverse lamps.

After a monumental search as Topix isn't the easiest thing to navigate around, in short yes they are on the CANbus:

The quote you need is:

The exterior lighting is controlled by the Central Junction Box (CJB). The CJB controls the following vehicle functions:
Control and monitoring of exterior lamps including turn signal indicators and hazard warning lamp functionality.
Monitoring and evaluation of check control inputs from other system control modules and output of applicable
messages in the Instrument Cluster (IC) message center.
The CJB is connected to the MS (Medium Speed) and HS (High Speed) CAN (Controller Area Network) buses. The CJB contains
a microprocessor which performs the control, monitoring and evaluation of functions.
