To fix the second ABS issue it says to fix the first problem first!

Check connections and earth/ground and run a full CAN test. That can't be too difficult..... can it?

Dorset Sports Cars have an excellent reputation.
They're in Wimborne not too far.
Maybe worth a telephone call to them?

Funny thing is I can get a three year Warranty with Warranties Direct for £1200.!!!

Yes it was a difficult decision for me, Warranty Direct or JLR extended.
I decided to bite the bullet and have just renewed my JLR extended warranty, twice the price but Warranty Direct do have some negative reviews, although JLR extended is only through another insurance company, but at least it's backed by JLR.

Others will say keep the money in your pocket and use it to pay for any issues, but it's the peace of mind for me.

One issue for you with WD, I am sure their t&cs will exclude any known issues. Not sure if they can obtain details of your problem from JLR if this reoccured or caused other problems.

Well here is the latest. Previous owner had a Jag tracker fitted by Fox’s Norwich whic was operating by subscription for the first two years then cancelled. Jag Melksham asked me whether a tracker had ever been fittedas this crest the two fault codes that cannot be removed. So ....... ok they disconnected the tracker and surprise surprise the same fault codes are still there!!! Jag technical assistance are now saying that these are U2 codes which are of no consequence!!!! Jag Melksham have wasted 14 hours to get this result!! I now have a jag extended warranty in place and. Collect the car next Monday but am not looking forward to labour costs!!! Jag Melksham have always said that this 12000 mile car is in perfect order but all this time for Jag now to call these faults U2 fault codes which has no bearing on the running of the car!!!! Help!!!!! Keith
