Hi all,

Was just wondering how I could get a bit more supercharger noise on my V8S, when a google came up with this. Has anyone tried one? Does it work? Easy to install yourself?

Couldn't find anyone referencing it on here..

Thanks in advance,

From the brief description and picture that seems very overpriced for what would essentially be a hose and clips (?)

Must be more to it or I have misunderstood the wording

You're right.. does seem a little bit pricey doesn't it if it is just that. I'll go and take a look at the air intake system later and see if there's anything more to it on my car!

I don't fancy an aftermarket air filter personally, more noise that way means more airflow, more airflow means bigger holes in the filter and bigger holes means more dirt gets in - just my opinion :) Hence why I fancied a replacement hose which seems a fairly straight forward fit.

I'm not trying to make the whine really loud, I'd just quite like to hear it a bit! Don't think it'll be annoying for the miles that I do a year.

Thanks Tel. If I've read your thread right, it's a new intake you've fitted which I'm not super keen on. Was more wondering if the kit I liked which seems to bypass/remove the whine inhibitor.
