Hello,
I've got the carbon ceramic brakes and need to change the front pads soon. I've started looking into alternatives to OEM (e.g. Pagid RSC 1 or 2), but I'm struggling to find out information about the front calipers, in order to find out what will fit.
I know it's a Brembo caliper, and I can search by caliper type on the Pagid product search page (http://www.pagidracing.com/en/product-s ... liper.html), but I have no idea what the actual Brembo part number(s) is/are.
Any pointers on where I can find this out?
Carbon ceramics: Brembo part number for calipers
A set of front pads were very roughly £1.5k from Jaguar (I don't have the actual quote to hand).
I can buy them online for about £1.1-1.2k.
That's for the Brembo pads used as stock.
I want to look into something like Pagid RSC 1 or RSC 2, or something from Endless, but I'm kind of limited by not knowing what caliper I have!
As an example though, a set of Pagid RSC 2 pads for an Mercedes AMG GT-R are about £500 (and more track focussed), so a big saving over the OEM Brembos. It's at least worth looking into!

I’ve done some searching and the JLR part numbers for the CCM brake pads are:
Front T2R11420
Rear T2R11424
the exact same brakes and pads are/were used on the 2014/2015 XKR-S GT, and the Brembo part numbers for the pads are:
Front 8994-D1763
Rear 8995-D1764
JAGUAR T2R11422 - BREMBO EX53 2K328 HB - RIGHT HAND REAR
JAGUAR T2R11423 - BREMBO EX53 2K327 HB - LEFT HAND REAR
Hope this helps, am also looking at replacing them with non CC pads and discs.
Can you let me know if you find any please.

That's a big help, thanks.
I'll let you know how I get on. Replacing them with non-CCM sounds sensible and I considered it seeing as I want to use it on track more often, but I'm really reluctant to give them up!
Hopefully if I can find some cheaper pads that will be a help, but obviously the big cost are the discs when they eventually need replacing.

Should be easier to put non ceramic pads in and replace the discs with the same offset ones. Even having them made will be cheaper than CC ones.
I haven’t tracked it as killing the discs isn’t an option the second They come off I will track it.

I understand the above but surely the car will do faster lap times with carbon brakes. From reading other threads some say the ceramic brakes last far longer than the steel ones.

I know one of the test drivers who did a fair amount of work with these on track, you can kill pads and discs very quickly it’s a heavy car compared to a Porsche. I can cope with 1k for pads but am not paying 12k for discs.

Weird, I posted a reply but it's disappeared.
They will be more fade resistant than steels, but the main issue is cooling.
They overheat very quickly, and it's the excess heat that can cause premature wear/damage to the discs.
It's track and conditions dependent obviously. On a short track on a cold day in Wales I had no issues and ran all day. On a mildly warm day at Circuit de Catalunya I could only do 5-6 laps at a time and then they would set alarms off in the car due to overheating, and I had to spend 10-15mins doing cool down laps.
It's not about ultimate lap time for me, it's just for fun.
I'm looking at getting some cooling ducts made up to see if that helps, and as per the first post I'm looking at alternative pad options.
The cost of the discs is the killer though, so maybe I'll end up swapping to steels but I really don't want to!
