Arr thank you, Interesting not there on mine Oct 14 build.

Had the arch liner out yesterday, wondered why I couldn’t fine anything...

Will check the near side arch next.

Update, since I can’t use the car at the moment( COVID-19) I haven’t bothered to get this sorted, however had a quick look yesterday and on my model the engine earth strap is just behind the wishbone on the drivers side. Bad news you have to jack the car up fairly high and crawl underneath. Very little room to get to the bolt as it is on the inside of the engine bay. Think there is just enough room for a spanner.

Just a quick update, sorted it.

It was the earth point as suspected, removed and cleaned the contact area on the body, started first time. Will post pictures on the”Earth connector block wheel arch “ in case anyone searches in future.
