Hi guys,
The active spolier button seems to have a mind of its own. The spoiler deploys fine automatically and 70 and goes down at 50, but when using the button it doesnt seem to want to go down sometimes. Pushing the button always deploys the spoiler no issue but a few times now it wont go back down when I push the button again. Nothing seems to happen! Had to resort to clicking it a few times then eventually pushing and holding the button to get the spoiler to go back down. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Spoiler button seems temperamental
Nothing wrong there - down direction is constant pressure - annoying when cleaning the car.
So from the speeds mentioned you have a coupe then.
...for a convertible the speeds are around 64 and 44 if memory serves me right - not seen mine in action for a while now!

Really? Because sometimes while I'm driving to lower it again I'll just push the button once and it'll go down. Or maybe I've imagined that? I'll have to go out and test it when it stops raining!Lunar wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 11:28 am Nothing wrong there - down direction is constant pressure - annoying when cleaning the car.

It's a safety feature - When moving, single press down should stow.
When stationary for cleaning - Push and hold spoiler down to retract....saves little fingers betting squigged maybe.

The official numbers I've seen for the ragtop are 60 up and 40 down .... Don't really understand why it has to be different from the coupe, though.

Probably just that the convertible has a much nicer looking spoiler and it deserves to be seen more

All above makes sense - and of course you can’t manually retract above deployment speed - we wouldn’t want any Audi TT impressions
