Nothing crazy about maintaining an extended manufacturer warranty on a F-Type........things can go wrong which are expensive to fix!

I doubt it would be impacted by installing the battery charger you purchased? There are many F-Type owners who've installed a CTEK charger and I haven't heard anything being said about it affecting their warranty?

I have a 2020 Jag F-type Checkerboard with an I4 engine and I'd like to install a battery charger but can't find any instructions on how to install the unit. I have a Jag battery charger C2P12522 and install kit C2P12521. Any idea where I might find downloadable install instructions? I only found instructions for the F-type with V-6, XK, XF, and XJ.

As per the pictures above but the location of the busbar is slightly different. Mine is a MY20 convertible and the box is on the rear sidewall of the boot rather than the floor.

Hi and thx for the reply. I found it but when I removed the cover all I found was a circuit board. No contacts, terminals or anything like the pictures for the V6. What am I missing?

i think the pictures from GusA is the rear suspension control box, not the buzz bar/fuse box

I have always had a conditioner installed, no query on any warranty work carried out.

That's correct, you need to unbolt the suspension controlo box (3 nuts) and get it out of the way to access the busbar which is behind the black mounting bracket in my third picture, sorry it wasn't clear.

Rather than start a new thread, since my query is sorta related, I have opened up the boot to start fitting a CTEK but noticed a loose cable on top of the distribution box. Does anybody know if this should be connected to something? It's the white connector in the picture below that has a black/white and brown/white cable coming from it

Everything in the car is working as it should (at least as far as I'm aware!) so I just wondered what this was for. Any ideas?

That's used when transporting the car from the factory. It serves no further purpose, just ignore it.
