Take a couple in, it would prove that this is still active by most decent JLR dealers and their approach will certainly loose them service business as it it being discussed on JLR forums.
I sent them a link to this thread. That's when they replied that Jaguar had suspended the fixed price deal.
I have also sent a PM to Pete on here at customer relations asking if they had stopped the fixed price servicing.
To be honest I didn't mind too much the price quoted, its those small things like screen washer fluid and WD40 that annoyed me.
I managed to get the drivers side window done which was scratched. Jaguar paid 80% of the cost but not the labour.

I know NAC63 had spark plugs done, (dont know why though as they're good for 100k)
i think its 4 years or 100,000 miles. 4 years is safeguarding the plugs from seizing in the head i believe, the plugs would be fine if put back in with a tiny bit of copper grease but if they were out i would replace anyway.

Well it's still being offered by most JLR dealers.
Maybe have a look at your next nearest for your next service.

With an AWD Over the 10 year life there’s a lot of transmission oil changes, including transfer box, rear diff, front diff and auto box.

I’ve just had a three year service which included transfer box oil change.

I just went onto mine to check the service had been updated and looked through the service sheets for the 10 year period for my car.
Nowhere does it say brake fluid change, just check levels. It states ceramic brakes only for fluid change? This is right trough to year 10, so clearly incorrect.

I have looked at the 3rd year service invoice done by another dealer I don't use anymore and no brake fluid change is noted. So mine has gone 5 years without a brake fluid change. I do limited mileage in the car so will wait for the 6 year service to have it changed but strange JLR's maintenance schedule is wrong.

⬆️ My point in another thread. Not sure some main dealer services are all that. Oil/filter change, fluid top up, that’s it.

The independent I’ve just used questioned some of the omissions on my service record. Some tasks that should’ve been carried out weren’t.

Think this can happen when owners are obsessed on price. Corners get cut.

i bought mine as an approved car with ,full main dealer' history, but on checking service record the diff oil had not been changed at the 4 year service. i insisted it was done f.o.c before collecting car.

On the Fixed Menu pricing there is a separate column for brake fluid change.

This is because there is no set period of time when to change the fluid, it doesn't work like that. Some people would take your money every 2 years, some would say 5 years.

The best way to do it is to get yourself a brake fluid tester or simply ask the garage to check the water content. 1-2% is fine, but more than that and it is better to play safe than to hang on until you get 4%.

You can pick a known brand one like this up for around £30 if you want to have control and certainty...

It still leaves the question of when the dealer either changes the fluid or at least highlights it to you - it would be nice to see a comment on the service invoice "brake fluid ok <2% water" - but I guess that would be too much to ask.

Jurassic,

that's strange mine shows brake fluid every 3 years and mentions carbon brake fluid more frequently.

I've just had a 3 year service at Jaguar Taunton including oil, filter, brake fluid and transfer box oil change and it came to £452 inc VAT, which was cheaper than Swallows the independent Jaguar specialist quoted. Very good value I thought and service was excellent with a loan car etc. I think they are part of Heltson Group who also own Matford Jaguar in Exeter.

They also solved an issue with InControl, updated to 20A now and replaced the drivers side carpet which appears to have shrunk, although it hasn't got wet. Jaguar agreed to pay 80% although the car was out of warranty a few months ago.

My independent checks brake fluid every service. He'll change it if it needs it, but he isn't out to make money doing unnecessary things.
