Looking at the service sheet mine included
Oil and filters, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, and 8 spark plugs I know the plugs were possibly OK but to keep the service schedule up to date I had them done anyway. I think the only difference between the A and B service is the air filter. Which my indy doesn't charge a lot extra for. Like I say I think the dealers just rip people off when there is no need.

No need? Those fancy buildings and the "free" coffee don't pay for themselves! ;)

Of course they'll be giving big discounts now you can't actually go in them and partake of said coffee ;)

I went on to the jaguar.co.uk website to check my car’s service history had been updated and noticed a tab where you can Print/download the service sheets for up to year 10. These show what service items need completing each year.

With an AWD Over the 10 year life there’s a lot of transmission oil changes, including transfer box, rear diff, front diff and auto box.

I’ve just had a three year service which included transfer box oil change.

That was my first and last dealer service.
£145 an hour labour
£5 to top my scren wash up which I know was full. It's only £5 a gallon.
£5 for a squirt of WD40 oil.
Independent from now on.
I cannot fault the service from the service manager and mechanic.

GBH, I would print off the Jaguar Fixed Price service menu. When you do that it shows the dealer name on it.
Take a couple in, it would prove that this is still active by most decent JLR dealers and their approach will certainly loose them service business as it it being discussed on JLR forums.
