Britcar have told me part AJ813865 is not available from Jaguar and not available on back order either

I might as well cancel the order as the updated upper tube won't be compatible with my current lower tube.

Gutted, had hoped to replace all of these whilst the supercharger was off.

Strange how you can’t get the parts needed to prevent the coolant leak issue that some cars are having?

Rizwan has previously said.......”I should've followed the advice about the Y pipe leaking from the join as this was indeed my issue. Jaguar dealer was not helpful in supplying the parts and I got them from Britcar in the end.”

JLR have an electronic parts catalogue and you have to register for access. Here’s the link.....

Yeah really struggling with this.. Jaguar can't supply a replacement part for a faulty deigned part?

This is my first JLR car, coming from about 15x BMW's, for which BMW guarantee the supply of all parts for 30 years. Really disappoint on a 7 year old car.

I have just spoken to my Jaguar main dealer parts department, given my vehicle registration and asked them for part number AJ813865. They informed me that this coolant ‘Y’ pipe is available under a different part number for £29.36 + VAT and if ordered, would be available on Monday. I asked them for the new part number but they wouldn’t give it to me due to company policy.

All you have to do is contact your Jaguar main dealer, give your vehicle reg and ask for part number AJ813865. They should then be able to supply you with the new part.

I think I've seen somewhere that the new part number is C2Z28536. I welcome confirmation if any one knows definitely.

.
This was the invoice from the warranty work I had done in May last year.
I always make sure I get a copy of the work done even when it's under warranty.

Have a read through one of my previous posts in this thread for the explanation on part number C2Z28536 as it’s no longer available and has been superseded.

When I spoke to my Jaguar main dealer earlier today (to find out for member scz4) the price they quoted me (£29.36 +VAT) for the part which has superseded AJ813865 is the same as the item on Lunar’s invoice which is described as 787127 / TUBE. This may or may not be a coincidence?

A quick call to the main dealer parts department will sort it out.

Very useful thanks. Is that a V6S or V8S?

Finally got a minute to call my dealer, part is definitely on back order, so ordered it anyway. Will see how long it takes.
