I have issues with this program. I have a F-Type and a F-Pace, both registered to it.
Both worked, but sometimes I had to reconnect from the car - login -.

Lately this was most often the case in the F-Type. I had a duo subscription with
Vodafone using data for both cars with two sims from a singel number.

No problem since I never use both cars the same moment.

Now suddenly one data-sim died. Vodafone played dumb, so I cancelled the subscription.
They now blocked it two days before expiry.. ..loosers.

I got a data sim prepaid, wasn't available here, just started some months ago.
All works in the F-Pace, get covarage [full] 4G. I get the sat map data also so the data works.

But the 'here-maps' doesn't see the car ! I registered it a zillion times but when I get to
the car, I don't even have to login, and it works...

On the phone app I still have both cars...

So I cancelled the whole account. And registered both cars again.. .. no it doesn't know any car..

Anybody heared this before ? What can I do ? Full warranty still for a year for the oldest car..

You have set it up in the car? If you have only done on phone it will not work...

I set it up in the cars before and both worked. I cannot 'reset' te settings in the car. Maybe the 'in control' refers to the old IMEI and these are nog
valid anymore. In the FT I have an old firmware version in which I can not get to 'roaming on' . The FP has version 20A ; there the sat data works
so internet works. Also I just noticed now both cars have vanished from the app to. But in remote - app both are present..

I reset the IMEI data in the cars. Then I removed my 'in control' profiles in both cars.
I let them be for about one hour.

I entered the cars, placed the new simcards, setup two new accounts [ one account for each car].

Again [ zillion+1 time..] I added both cars online in the 'in control route planner'...

Now I wait and see what happens.

One difference was that by keeping the 'sim on/off' pressed. I could enter into 'roaming on/off' , a page I could not access before.
Probably since that sim was 'offline' about 3 days befor expiry of the contract.

Thanks Vodafone, for letting me sit without data for 3 days..

Solved !

So I did the F-Type update last sunday. I used the same USB-stick again...
Ready in 5 secs, overwriting the VIN..
